Islam is to submit to Allah with Tawheed, to comply with His obedience, and to free oneself from shirk and its people.
Islam has three levels: Islam, Imān, and Ihsān — each with its pillars.
• Islam has five pillars: shahādah, salāh, zakāh, ṣawm, ḥajj.
• Imān has six pillars: belief in Allah, His angels, His books, His messengers, the Last Day, and the divine decree (qadr) — its good and evil.
• Ihsān has one pillar: 'to worship Allah as if you see Him; for if you do not see Him, He certainly sees you.' (Sahih Muslim)
